It’s on an amazing, iconic beach, but the pool shuts at 19:00 and there are lots of children. The laundry service is discriminatory. I’d skip the restaurant.

We’re having a great vacation, and I’d pick this place again when I return to Rio. The security has been amazing, so we feel very safe walking around with our kids. There’s direct access to the beach, and wandering along it, visiting the markets and food stands, and meeting friendly, helpful locals has been a great adventure. The pool area is huge, and the restaurant has a fantastic range of food and drinks. There’s also a market right across the street that stays open late, along with a pharmacy and shops. We’re all having a great time.
