Transamerica Fit Rio Verde

The cleaning lady was the one bright spot, always polite and helpful. Some people at reception, though, seemed as if helping guests was a favor and weren't very friendly. The room was tiny when we arrived, and the floor was so dirty it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. The photos online also didn't match what we found. Breakfast was another letdown, with chopped fruit, cheese, and ham left out without protection from mosquitoes or much attention to hygiene. For what they charge per night, the quality really falls short. I wouldn't recommend it. There are much better options nearby for similar prices and with better service.

The reception staff were helpful and available, and gave me the invoice I asked for. The room I stayed in, though, had pretty poor facilities. The door didn't close properly, and the sheets and walls were stained. The parking lot also doesn't fit the cars very well.

The service was even worse than the word awful suggests. This place isn't a hotel, and it's poorly run with a bad setup. There doesn't seem to be any hygiene either, with cockroaches moving around the kitchen at night. Just imagine what the coffee they serve must be like.

The location is good, but the room was really cramped and the air conditioner didn't work.
