The peaceful setting and beauty make up for a few things, as long as you know what to expect. We stayed in the room by the entrance, with glass walls, and really enjoyed it. Just keep in mind the restaurant and bar close at 3 p.m. on Sundays, so you’ll need to order dinner on iFood or head into town. The restaurant manager was difficult and didn’t take criticism well. She oversalted our cod. We came back anyway since it’s the only place to eat there, and gave lunch another chance. It turned out well, and the manager wasn’t around, haha. Would we stay again? Probably not, since we want to see other places, but it’s good value for the money. Pousada @poborespa

The views are beautiful, and there’s plenty of space in this lovely, peaceful place. The pool hours could be better, the sauna was broken, and the breakfast hours left something to be desired.

I took a work trip as a chance to have some time to myself, and it was unforgettable. The garden is lush, with birds, ponds, and elegant decor, and breakfast was served in a gorgeous kitchen overlooking a natural waterfall. It’s quiet, beautiful, and very well cared for. If you enjoy stillness and taking in nature, late afternoon by the pool is a lovely time to reflect and feel connected to God.

I travel a lot and have been to plenty of places, but I’ve never had service as good as Josiane’s. She was so helpful and patient, sending videos of the rooms and treating me with real care and respect. I was about to switch inns, but her great service convinced me to book New Year’s Eve at the inn for the second year in a row. Professionals like her uphold a company’s reputation. Congratulations to the inn for having such a valued and excellent employee.

We’re fans. Sunday lunch at pobore is a regular for us, and the food Luís Lima makes is wonderful. Get there early, have a drink in the open-air area, and enjoy. It’s absolutely perfect, 10000 out of 10.
