My young people had a really nice experience. The apartment I stayed in was Rai's, number 402 in the building. It's very well located, practically by the sea, maybe about 200 meters away.

The building is good quality and in a prime spot, close to bars and other attractions. It’s also near the Salvador Carnival and some of the best parade viewing areas. A really good stay.

We rented an apartment here for a while and liked the area. The building isn’t new, but it suited us since we spent most of the day out and mainly needed somewhere comfortable to sleep. Just make sure you get a place with air conditioning in Salvador. Ours had it.

The design is embarrassingly poor. There’s no air circulation or even an exhaust system, just one 50x50 window to try to exchange the air. It feels suffocating.

The building is well maintained and the location is great. But I couldn’t take my family to the pool because only two people are allowed, and there are four of us.
