The service was excellent, a perfect 10, and everything else was great. The rooms are a little small, there aren’t many outlets for charging phones, and parking spaces are limited.

I stayed there last night in the “super luxury” suite, and it was filthy. The place reeked of cigarettes and marijuana, the shower stall had grime stuck to the walls, and the toilet had urine in it and was clogged. The pillow was awful, like it had a plastic bag inside. The air conditioning took almost an hour to cool the room. Even at a cheaper price, the place shouldn’t be this bad. Makes you wonder what the other rooms are like.

It’s in Itapuã, which isn’t an upscale neighborhood in Salvador. The stay was good, and the staff were the best part.
