The air conditioning is badly positioned, with cold air constantly blowing onto the bed. My room 508 had no coffee or tea facilities and no hair dryer. The safe didn’t work, and the light in the “mirror-corner” wouldn’t turn on. Even after cleaning, I found hair left by previous guests in the room. The property badly needs renovation, including the furniture and bathroom. And, without exaggerating, absolutely nobody spoke English, despite this being an international chain hotel. I wouldn’t recommend it to travelers from Europe or the US who don’t speak Portuguese. Pay a little more and stay somewhere else.

The location is convenient and the staff are nice. The rooms could use some updating, though everything still works properly.

The room had the usual amenities, including a working mini fridge and TV, but the shower took a while to get going. Check-in was slow, and on the fourth floor you could sometimes hear quite a bit of outside noise. Still, this was far better than the Ibis brand.

There’s a pool and a small gym, and the hotel sits among large residential buildings. The place is okay, though it feels old, like many hotels in Brazil, especially in the Northeast. The rooms are dated, breakfast was poor, and cleanliness is definitely a problem.
