The rooms are unbelievably small, and the windows are just glass set into the wall. You hear everything outside and can't sleep. Nobody can speak a word of English, and the hotel is in a very bad area of Salvador. Do not stay here.

The noise was so annoying, and the rooms are tiny. We definitely don't recommend staying here.

The rooms, especially the deluxe ones, are surprisingly affordable for what you get. They're modern and high-tech, with TV and audio setups, huge bathrooms, and beds I slept incredibly well in. Some rooms even have whirlpools. The hotel has all the amenities you could want. Since driving around central Salvador is very limited, it's convenient to leave the car in the garage and catch a bus right outside. The main sights are only five minutes away that way, or a cab costs next to nothing. Salvador's areas are all dangerous at night, but this hotel is right on an avenue, and cars and cabs can pull up to the reception, so I didn't feel as worried.
