The rooms are simple but cozy, and the team is welcoming and helpful. The food is outstanding, too, and the staff clearly know their craft. Great location. If you’re staying in Joanes, I don’t think there’s a better place.

A complete disappointment. I had to ask for a sheet to sleep with, and one of the beds hadn’t been made because they thought only a couple would be staying. They’d prepared the double bed, but not the other one. Breakfast was extremely disorganized. There were only enough cups, saucers, utensils, and napkins for the number of guests, so if someone used yours, you had to find another yourself. I had to ask for a glass for my coffee, ask them to clear the table, and ask for bread. The staff said guests were very rude and ate all the food and used more than one item. I tried to find the manager, but she was never around. When I finally did find her, she blamed everything on the new staff. It was a really poor experience. The room was tiny and had just a fan, yet the nightly rate was R$ 200,00.

I ate here four days in a row because the homemade food was so delicious. I like trying different flavors, and after giving a restaurant nearby a try, I came right back. Divine comfort food, served by such lovely people. I was sad I couldn’t find Néia on my last day to say goodbye. ❤️🙏
