We stayed just one night because it was already late when we arrived and we had to. The room was dirty and smelled bad, so it was nowhere near comfortable. The nightclub next door made it extremely noisy and hard to rest. We had to pay for two nights in advance. It seemed to me they knew guests might cancel once they saw the actual conditions. Even after we explained we were unhappy, they refunded less than we had paid. That felt disrespectful and unclear. The structure, service, and management all fell short of basic professionalism. I can't recommend Hotel Golfen HL.

The rooms were old and dirty, and a nightclub right next door meant noise all night. The hotel also seemed to have a lot of guest turnover. A horrible place.

There wasn't even a fan in the room, and we had no blanket, toilet paper, or towel. The bed linens, room, and bathroom all had a strong, unpleasant smell. The listing said breakfast was included, but there wasn't any. Staff noise was also a problem. I arrived at 7 p.m. and waited about 30 minutes for them to “clean” the room. I left at 3 a.m. because staying there was impossible. What a letdown. It wouldn't be worth even R$30 a night.

The place itself doesn't help, especially with a nightclub next door. The attendant was very attentive, though.

Under new management, the hotel has been renovated and is clean. The breakfast was very good, and the service was great. I recommend it.
