Casa Colibri was a lovely place to stay. It was peaceful at night while still being a good base for enjoying the day, and we could walk to the beach. It's roughly between Porto Seguro and the center of Santa Cruz de Cabrália, which worked well for exploring the area. Annie and Iza treated my family with real warmth. The house was clean and followed the pandemic protocols carefully. The food deserves a mention: breakfast was generous, varied, and healthy, with a little French touch. In the evening, they served pizza with very thin homemade dough and plenty of filling. The service was excellent as well. One note for people from Minas Gerais driving there: in October 2021, the road via Almenara and Jequitinhonha had around 100 km of construction, so I recommend going through Posto da Mata and Teixeira de Freitas. From BH to Posto da Mata, most of the road was good, with rough patches mainly near larger cities. Fuel on the highway and in the region averaged about R$0.50 more than in BH.

We had a wonderful stay at this pousada, a real find. It's run by two French women and kept extremely clean and well cared for. The rooms have their own personality and a beachy feel that I loved. They were so welcoming, kind, and helpful. Breakfast was one of the best I've had, with a special touch and a delicious little French pastry that I got to try. The beach is close enough to walk to. I highly recommend it.

The location made everything easy, with the beach, restaurants, supermarkets, and lots of shops nearby. The Coroa Vermelha craft fair is less than a five-minute walk away. The owners take great care of the pousada, and it was clean and well organized. We also enjoyed the pool and tasty breakfast. The air conditioning cooled the room well, and the beds were very comfortable. There isn't a minibar in the room, but there's a shared refrigerator that works really well. Casa colibri was a perfect place to stay.

The pousada is small, so the service feels more personal, and I did miss having a minibar in the room. The owners are French and used to run a restaurant in France, which shows in the tasty meals, generous portions, and fair prices. Breakfast was a highlight too, with different choices, natural foods, and homemade bread.

It felt like home, honestly. The room was simple but cozy and clean, and the place is quiet, peaceful, and well located in Coroa Vermelha for anyone wanting to recharge away from the crowds. The owners were so polite, friendly, and helpful. Breakfast was a real standout for its quality. Since the owners are French, I expected it to be better than the usual Porto Seguro hotel breakfast, and it really was. A lovely find near Porto Seguro. I'd recommend it to couples looking for quiet and privacy away from the usual Porto Seguro stereotypes.
