Pousada Villa Arumã

Really great!

The forest setting was a real plus for me. The pousada is a little way from the center, but it sits in an area of secondary forest, so staying there felt close to being in the forest. Just arrange for the tour company to pick you up at the pousada in the morning. We stayed in chalet Akiki and felt right at home. It had a private hot tub with warm water, a small kitchen, and two bathrooms, which worked perfectly for a family with two children. The rooms were very clean, and the bed and bath linens were comfortable. They provide beach towels and have insect repellent available. We didn't use it, since Alter do Chão has very few mosquitoes, contrary to what I'd expected. Breakfast was generous, with wonderful regional choices. One of the best places to stay in Alter do Chão. We'd definitely return to pousada Arumã, and we recommend it.

The location at Villa Arumã gives you more time surrounded by nature, and the rooms are really comfortable. We were treated so well, the service was impeccable and the staff were absolute sweethearts. Breakfast was delicious, with everything high quality and well prepared. We want to come back soon and recommend it to everyone! ❤️

The breakfast had typical fruits and fresh juices, and the women serving us were always kind and smiling. I loved every minute here. Everything was impeccable, from the cleanliness to how politely everyone who helped me treated me. I'm still impressed by this wonderful pousada and would come back a thousand times.
