The rooms were spacious and cozy, and the whole pousada was very clean and well organized. My wife and I stayed from 21/06 to 25/06, and it felt like a dream, with so much care and all sorts of little treats. Luiza was attentive, dedicated, polite, and warm, and her team had the same spirit. Cida and Nalva were in the kitchen, and Vitor and Beatriz were at the concierge. Huge thanks to Luiza and the team for such a lovely experience. We highly recommend it.
The staff were incredibly attentive, and the rooms were kept spotless and neatly arranged. Breakfast was excellent as well. The stay went beyond what I expected in every way. When I’m back in São Félix and Cachoeira, I’ll definitely choose this pousada again.
Hey, Comida da Bahia folks, looking for a great pousada in São Félix? QUEPOUSADAÉESSA Gabriela? It’s Pousada Recôncavo, right across from the church and next to the D. Pedro II bridge. Beautiful and comfortable, and breakfast comes with the delicious treats of the Recôncavo.
The whole staff were so friendly and helpful, and we really appreciated Luiza’s warm welcome and all her tips. She went above and beyond, from helping with small room adjustments to personally contacting local residents so we could arrange outings and experiences. Mari deserves a special mention as the queen of cakes, and breakfast was sensational. The pousada reconcavo is wonderful, with lots of space and regional artists’ pieces throughout the decor. There’s also a cozy, beautifully decorated social area downstairs near the river. My wife, our teenage daughter, and I came to explore the area’s natural and cultural attractions, and our stay made the trip especially worthwhile. A 10.
Of the hotels we stayed at in São Felix, this was our favorite. We had some trouble reaching the pousada by phone, and getting in at reception was tricky too. There’s a doorbell, but we only managed to enter when another guest came in with their key. The rooms are small but cozy for a couple, with a great shower and spotless cleaning. Breakfast is simple and tasty, the service is great, and Luísa, the owner, is very attentive. We’ll be back soon.
