Terra D` Ouro Apart Hotel

It was quiet at night, which really matters when you're trying to rest. I arrived with a group of 23, and the stay worked out well. The apartment and bathroom were both spacious, clean, and comfortable, breakfast had a bit of everything, and the staff from reception through breakfast were attentive.

The price is good, and I had stayed here three times, but the way my reservations were handled was awful. I had made two bookings and still needed to fill out the forms. I was on the road when they sent them, so I couldn't do it right away. About an hour later, they gave both reservations to another customer without contacting me first. I can't accept that kind of service from a hotel, and I won't stay there again. I usually go to São João Del Rei at least once a year, so I'll look for somewhere with better service.

A disappointing stay. The walls were damp and the toilet was loose. The shower was electric but only cold, and the mattress had a broken spring. Breakfast also fell short. I was hoping for a warm pão de queijo and found one that was cold.

Really good bed, shower, and breakfast.
