A good base if you’re driving and want to explore from Porto de Galinhas to Maragogi. It’s close to Praia de Antunes, one of the region’s prettiest beaches, and about 20 km from central Maragogi Beach. The inn is right by the state highway connecting Pernambuco and Alagoas, beside the 60 km/h radar and a gas station. The apartments have a bedroom, bathroom, and living area with a TV, sink, and mini fridge. Rates are affordable, around 100 reais a night for up to two people. There’s no breakfast, but at that price I found that acceptable.

The cold shower was fine in the heat, but it’s something to know. We loved the place: good value, new, and the staff were very attentive. Every unit has a living room, bedroom, mini kitchen, and bathroom, plus air conditioning and a flat-screen TV. I’m pretty critical about service, so I’d call it excellent.

There was no hot water, and the room seemed a bit dirty. I found hairs on the bed and lipstick on the sheet. I think they may have forgotten to change the bedding before renting the room to us.
