Hotel Beira Parque

Loved it!

Great!

The location is excellent, but the price felt high for what you get. The rooms are spacious and the beds comfortable, though nothing special. The hotel is fine overall. Breakfast was below what I expected, and the cheese bread seemed like the kind from Rio de Janeiro. The awkward part is parking in a garage two blocks away. If you're driving, that's a hassle. There's nowhere to pull over and unload bags, so you have to do it quickly in the middle of traffic.

The staff were all so attentive and lovely, and the tea in the lobby was delicious. It came in handy on both nights after I overdid it a bit at dinner. The room I shared with my parents for a weekend was spacious, and the bathroom was huge. Breakfast was a real treat, with an absurdly good range of food, all made by the owner's other hotel team. The rooftop view is cute, not very high up, but enough to catch a lovely sunrise or sunset. The place is simple in a way that works, and I loved it. A few small things could be improved, though none are essential: a basic bin in the room, a smaller covered bin in the bathroom so the paper isn't so exposed, and a bench or little table in the bathroom for clothes and accessories. I'd also move the first floor sofa more toward the middle of the walkway. I work in interiors, so some things bother me more than they might bother other people, haha. Besides that, everything was lovely!
