The location is good, and the staff were very helpful and attentive. I spent Carnival at the hotel. The room was airy, the sheets and towels were clean, and the bathroom was spotless. The room floor, though, had quite a lot of hair and didn't seem as clean. Maybe guests had checked out shortly before we arrived. Breakfast was simple, but everything tasted really good.

The staff were kind and polite, and the cleaning was good. The water train is about a five minute walk away, and the shops in the town center are around 15 minutes on foot. You can get around without a car if you don't mind walking. Parking is small and first come, first served, though you can also park on the street alongside the sidewalk. There were lots of pigeons on the roof in the morning, but that didn't bother me. The room was dim, staying dark in the morning even with the light on. The towels were very rough. Breakfast was very basic: several kinds of sweet rolls, just two kinds of fruit, no savory snacks, one kind of cake, and a jug each of juice and yogurt. As soon as my boyfriend sat on the bed when we arrived, it broke, even though he's very thin. They moved us to another room. I knew from the reviews that the bathroom was small, but the shower space was awful, only about four handspans from the curtain to the window. The shower had a curtain and no raised floor edge, so water ran out and wet the whole bathroom. The door couldn't open fully because it hit the sink, so I had to leave the bathroom to dry off. The TV didn't work when we arrived Thursday, November 20. After several complaints, they fixed it Saturday, saying the whole guesthouse had lost TV signal. But when we asked other guests, most of them said their TVs worked. We only had a working TV on Saturday afternoon, and we left Sunday morning.
