There’s plenty to read about the region in the pictures and charts around the place, and staff are always ready with ideas for short trips on or off the island. The breakfast is amazing, with lots of carefully prepared choices that introduce Amazonian food. Room service is nice too. It’s a cozy spot for anyone wanting more than just somewhere to sleep, definitely one of the city’s best options.

A small, pleasant hostel. The room and common areas don’t have a fridge for guests, which was a shame, and breakfast could be better.

I liked the location, the front desk and kitchen teams, the hammock area, and the greenery upstairs. Our room had decent space, but the bed and bath linens weren’t good quality and the pillows were awful. We were downstairs and could hear every movement from the upper floor, the sound insulation was terrible. I’d tell the owner to improve the building, because that really isn’t acceptable. I also saw some odd guest situations: one man came and went with women who weren’t staying there, and another case gave me the impression this wasn’t a family kind of place.
