Really good!
The breakfast was very limited, just bread and cake, and they couldn’t provide hot water for tea when asked. There were five kinds of infusions, but no actual tea. The inn also had no hot water for showers. They said it would be fixed by 7:30 the next morning, but at noon the next day we still left without a shower. The owner, who was quite rude, said the hot water problem affected the whole hotel, and that they wanted us to leave so they could do repairs that should have been done before guests arrived. Our room was supposed to be for a couple, but instead of a double bed it had three single beds taking up most of the small, undecorated room. The beds wouldn’t stay pushed together either. The inn is simple, but the checkout was handled like a roadside motel. At exactly noon, someone pounded on our door several times to tell us our stay was over, even though it was Sunday and the inn was empty. If you’re heading to the fantastic São Luiz do Paraitinga and can’t find somewhere else to stay, I’d recommend sleeping under a bridge.
It’s a very quiet, simple place, good for relaxing, with excellent service and a price that felt more than fair. Breakfast was good and simple too. They don’t serve lunch or dinner, but there are places you can order food from. I recommend staying here.
The shared lounge was really nice, and everything was very clean. The bedding was spotless, the bathroom spacious, and breakfast was good. Comfortable inn, very good service, and a fair price.
