The beach is just steps away, and it feels almost private, so it's easy to relax in the sun or take a quiet walk along the shore. The whole place has a calm feel, with rooms and common spaces that mix rustic charm and simple elegance. Our room was impressively spacious and had two separate bathrooms, which was very convenient. Meals were a real highlight. Breakfast and the dining menu were included, with varied choices and great flavor and presentation. The staff were attentive and friendly throughout our stay, making us feel welcome. Pousada do Toque showed how simplicity can still feel luxurious, and exceeded my expectations. A wonderful spot in Milagres for a comfortable stay by the beach.

The setting is lovely, right on the beach, and the facilities are wonderful. The food was excellent and there was plenty of it. The staff were among the friendliest I've come across at a hotel, and some speak a bit of English. I couldn't recommend it more.

A relaxing place at a good price, with relatively few guests and plenty of staff ready to help make your stay go well. J.R especially stands out for his dedication and for making guests feel wonderful, though all the other staff were great too. It's a good choice for a quiet, intimate break. We brought young kids. There aren't any kid-focused amenities like a playground or toys, and the place seems more geared toward adults, but our kids still had a blast.

The beach here has a reef about 500 meters offshore, which keeps the surf gentle and fun to play in. At low tide, it's also a fun little trip out to explore the reef. We had a magical week together when our family gathered at this amazing Pousada. The staff welcomed us into the Toque family, and the days were full of fun and relaxation. Every meal was spectacular. Getting there is a journey, but the stay is well worth it. I highly recommend it.

The water is calm and warm, making this a lovely place for a romantic getaway. I wouldn't choose it for a trip with kids. It's definitely one of the best places to stay in São Miguel dos Milagres, with great staff, good food and a good setup right by the beach. It is a bit pricey, but you can book with peace of mind.
