The family feeling here is what made this the best stay I've had in two years of traveling. It felt like finding a home, and it's easy to see why people return every year. The pousada is family owned, with the family nearby and ready to help. Staff are on site around the clock, and the care and respect between them and the family comes through in how guests are treated. The atmosphere is calm, relaxed, peaceful, and cheerful. Everything was impeccably clean. Our private room had a large bed and a small one, and both were comfortable. Even with a hospital nearby, the street was quiet enough for a good night's sleep. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean compared with other places I've stayed in Brazil. Wi-Fi was fast enough for my online Portuguese lessons and video calls. There's a garden, driveway, dining room, two living rooms, kitchen, and workspace. Breakfast was a filling buffet with fruit, cereal, breads, juice, coffee, cake, hot chocolate, cookies, yogurt, ham, and cheese, plus eggs you can order. It's on a cozy residential street near bars, restaurants, cafés, grocery stores, and gyms. Paulista Avenue and the metro are a four-minute walk away. The neighborhood has a mix of wealth and lifestyles, but I never worried about safety. The front gate uses a door code, and someone is at the front desk 24/7.

Mingau, the cat who lives at the hostel, is a nice bonus, and the attendants were very helpful. It's a quiet place near Paulista Avenue and the Bixiga neighborhood. The room was well kept, though the bed felt a little rough.

The breakfast was delicious and had a great selection, and everyone was really nice. It's a little way from Paulista Avenue, but not too far.

I liked the Pousada. Comfortable place and good service.
