The one good thing was that it was close to work. Even so, I'm cancelling the next 3 weeks I had booked. This is a poor choice for work travelers, and I'd already heard bad things from colleagues as well as having earlier problems myself. Over my last 3 nights there, the bedding was unhygienic, with just one sheet and no cover between me and the comforter. Charlie doesn't provide an iron or anything similar, which is hard when travelling for work. The elevator got stuck with me inside for a while, and nobody came to check. It started moving again on its own. We had no water for 1 night and 1 morning, and low water pressure for another full night. Check-in trouble is common: facial recognition failed several times, so I had to use the intercom at 3 facial-recognition doors, wasting time when nobody answered quickly. During this latest rental there was also no lighting in the common area, and the elevators were out, so I had to walk up to the 9th floor for 2 days. Their indoor "gym" is the worst I've seen in this kind of flat, and there aren't other nearby options through Gympass. Construction next door goes on all night and is very noisy. I don't understand why Charlie doesn't try to enforce the quiet hours. It was happening during my previous bookings too.

We spent 23 days using Rede charlie at SETIN DOWNTOWN GENEBRA, in apartments 1105, 1108, and 305, and moved between several units because of repeated problems. First, a mistake while Rede charlie's page was updating changed our arrival date from the 27th to the 26th after payment. We were spending Christmas in another city and were meant to return to São Paulo. When I contacted the attendant, I was told nothing could be done, and we lost the money. Life goes on, but would I use or recommend the service again? Hmm. Apartment 1105 had no working internet and a blocked toilet, with feces appearing even though we hadn't used it. After we persisted and got nowhere with the attendants, we were moved to 1108. Its air conditioner iced up, wouldn't cool the apartment, and was coming loose from the wall, a risk to me or my baby daughters. Then it poured water into the bedroom like a waterfall until a team came and fixed it. After our first stay, when we returned for the second, the cleaning seemed poor. I cleaned apartments 1105, 1108, and 305 myself. When I moved the bed, I found lots of trash, mold, hair, and a very dirty floor. The photos show it. The air conditioner was filthy too, as the photo makes clear. The apartments need basic care and regular maintenance, and the photos show that Rede charlie is ignoring those things. To be fair, the service belongs to Rede charlie, while the building service belongs to the condominium setin Downtown Genebra. The condominium staff were very attentive and professional, especially the friendly, polite, empathetic manager and all the doormen.

The location is good, and the place is well maintained. Its condition and security are definite pluses.

The studio apartments are clean and have a balcony, kitchenette, and concierge. There's also a pool and gym.
