Best low-cost hotel in SP.

I came because of the Google reviews, but once we got there it didn’t look like the same place people had rated so highly. We still tried to stay. The room was tiny, maybe 2.5 x 2.5 at most, with no TV or window, just a fan. The bathroom was small and shared. This should be listed as a hostel. The smell of marijuana bothered us too. We couldn’t stay, even though we’d already paid R$115 for an expensive stay. We tried to negotiate getting half the money back, but the guy at reception came up with excuse after excuse to avoid refunding it. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

The room was small and basic, but having your own room is really nice. It was clean and well organized, and the staff were very attentive. The shared bathrooms were cleaned several times a day. The location is excellent, and for a short trip this is well worth it. I much prefer it to sharing a room with a bunch of strangers in a hostel. I recommend it!
