Da Ilha

Housekeeping cleaned the room and made the beds every day, and the rooms were clean. The location is handy, with a grocery store close by, though the nearest beach isn't walkable in the easy sense: it's 10-12 minutes downhill and 20 minutes back uphill. Breakfast could be better. Staff waited until food and drinks ran out before refilling them, which was annoying. There wasn't much variety in the fruit, the juice wasn't natural, and I didn't see any cereal. For what you pay, though, it's really worth it. It's a decent hotel for families and couples, as long as you're not expecting luxury. The price is good, and I'd definitely come back with more friends.

Hotel da Ilha has a great setup for hosting lots of travelers, with good beds, a quiet atmosphere, and two nice pools. The breakfast was wonderful, and the staff were happy. It's a great place to relax, and you should get to know Ilhabela. I had a great stay and will choose this hotel again when I come back. A great four star hotel.

Good value for the money. It's cheap and does what it needs to, a place to sleep before moving on. Fine overall, but it's old, and I wouldn't stay longer than necessary.

The rooms have air conditioning, and there are two pools plus a games room that's a decent size. It's a good spot for families, with a great location and staff.
