Everything worked well, and the place was clean and practical. The customer service was nice too. I’d definitely recommend it.

I’ve stayed at Domus Garden several times, and Gabriela, who manages it, has a real gift for hospitality. She’s always kind. I’ve checked prices at other places in Moema/Vila Olímpia a couple of times, and I can say I haven’t found anything in that area as appealing and good value as Domus. The way Gabriela and her team run the place is both capable and humble. They’re warm and welcoming with guests, and Domus feels like a home away from home. Congratulations to Gabriela and the team. A good choice if you’re trying to save money, and I’d favor a private room since the rooms are very small. Getting into the Hostel is streamlined, with no contact with staff. There’s a mixed gender shared bathroom, but a lot of water runs into the hallway while people shower. Some rooms are reached by stairs. The kitchen has utensils and there’s a water fountain. It’s near a supermarket, though you can hear planes. I’d come back!

The mattress was comfortable, and the place was clean, organized, and nice. Fran, the employee, was exceptionally sweet. But my room-mates didn’t respect quiet hours, and the beds creak a lot. There aren’t outlets by every bed, and the few that are there are awkwardly placed. The shared room is really small, so be ready for that if you have a suitcase.
