Elegance Suítes Higienópolis

Everyone at the hotel was helpful, especially Charles in the breakfast room. I don't speak Portuguese, and he was patient, friendly, and capable while helping me get what I needed. I appreciated my stay here. The rooms were clean, breakfast was great, and the staff were very friendly. There's also a nice mall nearby. Thanks to everyone for a wonderful stay!

The rooms are comfortable, and the staff are very nice. It's a nice hotel with a small pool right in the center of Higienópolis.

This has become one of my favorite hotels in town. I've stayed a few times, and each visit was better than the last. It has the charm of a bygone age, with old Hollywood art deco glamour, while still feeling modern and relevant. Among the city's boutique hotels, this one has a particularly distinctive feel. The area is safe to explore, and you can walk to a charming nearby mall past classic mansions and modern buildings without worrying that someone will grab your phone while you're taking pictures. It's a place where you can simply enjoy yourself.

The rooms feel quite dated, though most of the staff were friendly and ready to help. The check-in experience was frustrating: we arrived before 2pm and were quoted a full night's stay to get in early. Only after we declined and started to leave did they mention that waiting 20 minutes would cut the rate in half, though it was still much more than we'd already paid. It felt like a sneaky way to charge tired travelers extra.
