13/07/24. Trying to sleep was worse than being awake. I felt like I was in my own coffin, with a mattress as hard as one. The light at the end of the tunnel was red, because the TV indicator shone right in my face. The blankets don’t get washed. You cover yourself with someone else’s leftovers and smell them, but it was freezing, so I used one anyway. “Then why did you stay?” I was far from home, the hotel across the street was full, and I gave in. We accept less than what makes us comfortable, and lower-middle and working-class culture makes us that way. People were yelling and talking all night. Of course, nobody can take away someone’s right to talk. What’s sleep for, anyway? If you think a night of sex matters more than a good night’s sleep, don’t go, even then. It’s not okay for someone to have left their bodily fluids on those sheets. At least take them off and sleep directly on the mattress fabric. I didn’t bring flip-flops. Imagine the bathroom floor? Dermatitis, infection? Think that sounds like whining? Good luck dealing with it. A very unusual night in bohemian, rustic Santa Cecília. The name lives up to how you feel: it’s pure hatred. One star because that’s the lowest rating.

The hotel reeked of cigarettes the whole time. The room and bathroom were dirty, and there were still hairs all over the wall by the sink 🙄. It was awful, and felt more like a motel. There wasn’t any water to drink, no minibar, no food, and certainly no breakfast like it said there would be. THIS IS NOT FIT TO BE A HOTEL.

Terrible place! It’s listed on Booking as a hotel, but don’t be fooled. The rooms have a motel setup, including mirrors on the ceiling, and they smelled disgustingly of cigarettes. The receptionist still called it a family-friendly environment. The photos are very misleading, strange people were coming and going, and the whole place had bad energy. A dreadful experience. Don’t stay there, even if you’re actually looking for a motel!

Awful, awful, horrible place. The room was old and smelled strongly of cigarettes, the bathroom was dirty, and the shower was bad. The water control came off in my hand. I wouldn’t recommend it. I gave it one star only because negative stars aren’t an option. Otherwise, it’d be minus seven.
