The location was incredibly handy: there are pharmacies, mini marts, lots of restaurants, and a bus stop nearby, and the municipal market is an easy walk. We didn't mind crossing the busy street on the way there. A lively pub next door didn't make much noise, and the meat shop across the street has delicious Espetinho worth trying. We did stay alert around a few homeless people nearby. I visited from Trinidad and Tobago with my parents. The hotel was lovely, our room on the 24th floor had a nice city view, and it was kept clean. Staff were professional and helpful, especially when we needed to exchange USD for BRL. We had a 10/10 experience.

The room I was given smelled noticeably of mold. After a 14-hour flight, I really didn't want to have an argument about its condition. The neighborhood also felt unwelcoming, with many homeless people and people who seemed dubious. Locals said the area was unsafe, so I wouldn't recommend the hotel. Before the trip, I tried to change my arrival date because of bad weather, but the hotel policy wouldn't allow it. I couldn't arrive as planned.

The room wasn't cleaned for a week, and they didn't replace the towel. Breakfast was good, and the area outside felt safe. The place itself wasn't clean. 🤷🏻♂️

They told me they had no rooms when I arrived, even though I'd booked, and sent me to their sister hotel next door. That place was ghetto as heck. This feels like a scam, so don't book here, go elsewhere.

I was in São Paulo for work and stayed for three weeks. The hotel is downtown, right by Santa Ifigênia, the well-known area for technology stores. It's also a troubled neighborhood with lots of homeless people and drug users. Be careful walking around, and don't carry your smartphone in your hand.
