I like staying here when I visit São Paulo. It’s inexpensive and basic, but has what I need. The location is great, right across the road from the metro, and there’s good security. Staff are friendly and very helpful. There are laundry facilities, breakfast, a free water refill station, quiet rooms for working, and space to store bags.

They didn’t tell guests about major construction just 15 meters from one side of the hotel. They were also renovating the room next to mine.

Getting checked in, from registering to receiving the room key, took more than 30 minutes in total. I’ve never had that happen at another Accor hotel.

The location is very good, but I can’t see anything else that justifies the price. My room was clean, though it felt like a cell, and the mattress was probably the firmest I’ve ever seen. There was no small fridge, something I should have checked, but I didn’t expect a R$450-a-night room to be without one. Check-in itself was easy, and they offered early check-in for around R$80.

The breakfast space feels awkward, with cramped tables, lots of high tables, and fixed chairs that don’t line up. In the room, the layout is strange, especially the bathroom and shower, and it’s quite noisy. The air conditioning gives little control over the temperature. The bedside table is tiny, and the chair is unusual.
