The location is handy, right in the city center, so getting around on foot or by metro is easy. I stayed two nights at New commercial palace Hotel in são Paulo, and came away with mixed feelings. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, and the breakfast area was very nice. Still, comfort and cleanliness overall need a lot of improvement.

The price doesn't feel justified. The room was old, had no air conditioning, and the fan barely worked. It was noisy too. The dining area is tiny and busy all the time, so getting breakfast wasn't easy. I had to check three times before I found a free table. Outside, there was a spot where people help homeless people, and there were a lot of police around as well.

Great location, good facilities, and lifts for accessibility, a basic feature some hotels unfortunately lack. The breakfast was flawless, and the reception service was amazing.

The only thing missing in room 308 was a shower enclosure. Everything else was excellent, and I’ll definitely return. I was pleasantly surprised, since I often stay at hotels in that area and this was the best one of its size I’ve tried. The breakfast was good, the receptionists were friendly, the bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning worked great.
