The rooms are roomy, and breakfast is average, so that's okay. The staff try, but the service still isn't good. Parking staff especially were impolite and seemed like they didn't want to be there. My room had cracked walls, and the bathroom looked straight out of the 1990s. This may once have been a top hotel, but it seems to have stayed frozen in that era and probably won't be updated, since guest reviews don't seem to matter. Three stars feels more than fair for a dated hotel that's overpriced.

This hotel needs a full renovation. The bathroom was grimy and worn, with mold on the shower tiles that needed at least a deep clean. It used to look much better, and the price just isn't justified.

The service was excellent, the hotel was clean and nice, and I enjoyed the pool, lobby, and restaurant.

I didn't appreciate being charged in Euros when I'd asked to pay in Reals. Update, Oct 31, 3025: The hotel management team followed up really well on this matter, and I appreciate it.

Breakfast service was great, and one waiter in particular was super friendly and helpful. But when I arrived to check in at 3 pm, my rooms weren't ready. I waited there for over 45 minutes while they acted as if everything was just normal procedure. Next time, they should be honest and let my family wait at the bar with a snack, perhaps. Also, if several family members are staying, ask for rooms in the same tower and on the same level. The elevators require a key, and that caused problems for us.
