Pousada Viana

Fine.

The owner is very attentive, and the location is a plus, with the freedom to come and go at any hour. But the pousada doesn’t live up to this excellent neighborhood, where I know there are better pousadas and even hostels. It lacks hygiene, and the building is in poor shape and inaccessible, even for people who don’t need accessibility features. I found a cockroach in the room, and there wasn’t even a small complimentary soap. I didn’t eat there, but it didn’t look very hygienic to me. The nightly rate isn’t that low for what they offer.

Very comfortable, clean, and organized. The shower has a good flow, though some rooms have small bathrooms, which didn’t bother me. The person in charge of the pousada is really friendly.

The value for the price is amazing. I ended up with the smallest room because it was the only one left, but I was still comfortable. The rooms are simple and very clean, and the team is always willing to help. It’s also in a great location. I’ll be back.
