The biggest problems came from Roomo, which managed the apartment, and left me deeply disappointed. I paid for an extension that included cleaning, but the cleaning wasn't provided, so I had to hire someone from outside. Roomo also falsely said my extension payment had been canceled, even though I had paid in full. The payment department confirmed they were lying. They then tried to make me leave before my scheduled checkout, in a coercive and disrespectful way. Their customer service was another serious issue. WhatsApp was a headache, with unacceptably slow replies and little professionalism or urgency. I've seen complaints about Roomo pointing to the same problem. Communication was unclear, and the way they treated me showed disregard for guests. An employee they sent also entered the apartment while I was in the bathroom, pounded on the door aggressively, and yelled for me to open it. He refused to leave and stayed until I came out. It was invasive and extremely uncomfortable. The person in the photo, who presented himself as a Roomo representative, acted aggressively and without courtesy or respect. Entering a guest's private space without justification and failing to present himself properly was unacceptable and far below the professional standard the company claims to offer. My experience with George V Itaim Bibi itself was excellent. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, and the concierge handled my requests efficiently, bringing things directly to the apartment with politeness and care. The place was luxurious and comfortable. George V went out of its way to make my stay comfortable despite Roomo's management problems. I'm sad that Roomo's negligence and bad faith undermined an otherwise excellent stay. Be cautious when booking through Roomo, whose conduct doesn't fit the level of service expected at a luxury accommodation.

I stay here four times a year and have always been happy with it. The rooms are cozy and spacious, with a kitchenette, and the staff are friendly and helpful. It's a lovely business hotel in São Paulo, well placed in the Itaim Bibi district among shops and upscale restaurants.

The rooms, food, service, and location were excellent, so I would have given five stars. But during my short stay, I saw two guests without masks at reception, and one of them got into the elevator despite my trying to persuade her not to. They didn't seem to be enforcing the basic pandemic precautions. How are guests supposed to feel safe if the hotel doesn't protect them?

The bakery just across the street is amazing, and there are restaurants and cafes within walking distance. It's close to everything and in a perfect part of town.
