Vila Rock Hostel

The Sumaré metro station is very close, and it's a pleasant walk of about 30 minutes to Avenida Paulista. I spent 8 days at the hostel and had an incredible time, including meeting people from all over the world. The common areas were clean and there was plenty of space to use. The showers were excellent, with shampoo and liquid body soap provided. The staff were very attentive, especially Luís Felipe, who gave outstanding service. Thanks, and congratulations on the excellent hospitality.

The patio was nice, the music was good oldies, and I liked the room. The hostel itself was good, but nearly everything came with an extra charge, even a towel for a private room. The warm blanket had disgusting stains, and the shower had a 10-minute limit for the whole room. We were in a private room for three, so that worked out to about 3 minutes each. The water pressure was very low too. For the price, I'd expect better.

The place had a great atmosphere, with a nice area to hang out, relax, or watch a movie. Huge thanks to Luiz E, who made everyone feel welcome and at home. Even during his time off, he went out of his way to help people have the best stay and experience in São Paulo. The whole team was friendly. I'd definitely stay again.
