Welcome SP Hostel

A wonderful stay near the airport, close enough to walk. The staff were lovely and paid attention to the details. Recommended!

Lovely, welcoming people, and a perfect location if you’re traveling through São Paulo.

I came to São Paulo for the ACDC concert on 28/02 and was flying in and out the same day. Since I arrived at Congonhas, I wanted somewhere just to sleep, and Hostel Welcome SP - Congonhas was a good price. I chose a shared room for my first time, and everything went smoothly. July was helpful whenever I contacted her and answered all my questions. I was able to check in early, but had to pay half the accommodation price. That was my only complaint. Since early check-in was possible, I don’t think a guest should have to pay extra. In my case, I only needed to put my backpack in the locked room closet before going to the concert. Getting there was easy, literally five minutes from the airport, on a quiet street. The hostel has a shared kitchen and social area, and the shared room has its own bathroom right next door. There are also two private rooms with their own bathrooms, which could work well for families. Aside from the early check-in fee, everything was fine. If early access wasn’t possible, I’d understand paying to use the locked luggage storage in the social area. If I do another same-day trip through Congonhas, I’ll definitely come back to Hostel Welcome SP.

A nice place, very close to the airport and lots of local businesses. We had some language difficulties, but the woman at reception was good at sorting things out. There’s a kitchen available and filtered water. I would have liked to stay longer, but flights don’t wait. The internet is fast, 10 out of 10 recommended.
