Casa Cravo & Canela

The house has a beautiful view and a little stream running along its side, which was lovely to listen to. It’s peaceful, and the materials and furnishings are all top quality. There’s free parking, a children’s pool, an outdoor shower, and a barbecue area with a grill. The house itself is great, with a veranda overlooking the street. The owner left thoughtful little treats and a note, and everything was clean and cozy. Dona Gabriela was so friendly and welcomed my wife and me warmly.

We loved relaxing here and taking in the mountain view. The veranda surrounded by greenery was lovely for photos, and there’s a hammock and barbecue area for eating or resting while you look out at the Serra. We had breakfast on the veranda with the view, and the colorful lights looked great at night. Since we were there on the weekend, we could hear live music from the restaurant next door. It was fun enough to dance to, and it didn’t disturb our sleep. They stop at 10 p.m., then it stays quiet until morning. The place was clean, cozy, and well cared for, and the owner was very attentive.

Everything was clean and well organized. Gabriela was attentive at both check-in and checkout, and there were thoughtful details throughout, like flowers, soap, and chocolates.

A really peaceful, lovely little house, and the prices are affordable. My wife and I had a great time and plan to come back in winter.
