Everything was clean, with a comfortable bed, good shower, and air conditioning that worked well. The room also had a TV, fridge, chest of drawers, wardrobe, and two beach chairs. The owner, Sueli, was very helpful. It's a good inn close to the beach, bakery, and restaurant. The beach was quiet and clean. Nothing to complain about.

We were well received by the host, and I have no complaints about the welcome. The price was very attractive for high season. These are just my observations for the people in charge to consider, if they see fit, and so future guests have more information about Pousada Makitub. The pool is a good size, but had dead insects and dirt on the bottom. It wasn't cleaned during our five days there. The kitchen is shared, so there's no privacy, and although there were enough utensils to cook meals, they were dirty, with some stored in an old cupboard. The microwave stopped before heating things through. Some rooms' parking spaces are in a side corridor, so if a car is parked in front, you have to ask the owner to move it. There was also a strong smell of cat feces and urine. The room had a ceiling fan, air conditioning, a small fridge, a little cabinet, a good bed and good pillows. The LCD TV had around ten channels and a great picture. Cleaning in the room was only so-so. They also provided two chairs to take to the beach. There's a restaurant nearby called alcatrazes. I ordered chicken parmigiana for two and two cans of soda, which came to about R$ 140. I didn't eat at the nearby bakery. The beach is 200 meters away, but there are no kiosks or beach stands.

Suely looked after me really well, and the inn is very good. The room's air conditioning makes all the difference, and there are parking spaces too. I'll definitely come back when I'm in Boracéia again.

I wouldn't recommend this inn to anyone visiting the city. The owners showed no hospitality and seemed to care only about the money. Once we'd paid for our stay, they stopped caring about us. We were there over Carnival weekend, when heavy rain flooded the area. The owners didn't offer any help during the emergency. The inn also ran out of water, and they gave us no explanation. Even after we let them know, they seemed to be hiding.
