Great!

There was no room service or help from reception with anything, and there was hardly ever anyone at the front. The owner was very rude, and I saw him being harsh with some people. The inn is very old. The bathroom was dirty, and the balcony was even worse. We were told we could be charged for stains on the bed and towels, but everything was already dirty and stained. The bathroom gave electric shocks, so we had to use a towel to open and close it. All the outlets had loose connections, and the air conditioning was very weak. We also read in the newspapers about a new law applying to inns and hotels that aren't rented through apps: they have to provide the room until 9 p.m. of the booked day, but checkout is mandatory at 11 a.m.

The shower gave me electric shocks, so I was scared while bathing. I was also charged for a towel because it had sunscreen on it. If guests aren't allowed to use a towel, what's the point of having it? They said it had to be sent to the laundry, but that's a basic part of running an inn. Such a frustrating stay!

The breakfast stood out. We hadn't expected it to be so good or have so many choices. My fiancée and I stayed for a few days at Pousada Maori do Luciano and had a wonderful time. Samylla welcomed us warmly, from our WhatsApp contact through the stay itself. The place really surprised us in a good way.
