Suítes Praia Barequeçaba

We lost the money we paid for the stay because, with the rain, the children, and the rude reception, we chose comfort and left. We couldn't cancel, so we went to Valentina Pousada instead, where we were treated really well. It was by the sea, clean, paved, with breakfast and parking on site, plus beach service. We'd called before booking to ask whether breakfast and parking were included, and were told they were. Later, on WhatsApp and still before booking, we were told both breakfast and parking were at another property, Pousada Estrela Maré, 500 m away. Our mistake was trusting what we heard on the call and not paying close attention to the WhatsApp details. We arrived at night in heavy rain. The road there wasn't paved and was flooded. When we rang the bell, a staff member refused to let us in, even though our two children were in the car, one of them autistic. She bluntly said the email had told us to check in at Pousada Estrela Maré. We tried to cancel out of disappointment, but couldn't. We didn't stay at Suite Praia Barequecaba.

We were just one block from the beach, with chairs, an umbrella, and everything else there. I brought two small pets, and they were made very welcome.

My family and I loved it and we'll be back soon. Everyone welcomed us so warmly and were polite and friendly, especially senhor Beretta and a Juliana.

The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, and the place is just 100 m from the sand.
