We booked the inn for the holiday because the listing said pets were accepted. I said when booking that I'd bring my dog, but when we arrived we were told that, in addition to booking through Booking, we should have contacted them directly to sign a form with a long list of restrictions. Why wasn't that clear in the listing? The rules said pets could only be carried in your arms and couldn't be left alone in the room. How can an inn call itself “pet friendly” with conditions that make a stay unworkable? The person in charge, Jarbas, was rude and said accepting pets isn't the same as being pet friendly. Isn't that exactly the kind of distinction that confuses and misleads customers? To make matters worse, he classified my dachshund as a “large dog” and refused to host us. What criteria do they use to decide a dog's size, and why isn't that explained before booking? They made cancellation difficult even though the inn was the one that didn't honor what had been agreed. I also had to make a Pix payment directly to the person in charge's CPF. Is it right for an inn to operate this way without offering official payment methods? Terrible service, hidden rules, and no respect for customers. I don't recommend it.

You can pretty much leave the car behind here. The inn is about 600m from the beach, and the Extra supermarket, shopping center, restaurants, pharmacy, café, and ice cream shop are all less than 1K away. The room was clean and well kept, with clean sheets and pillowcases. The spring mattress had medium firmness. Some room options include a laundry area with a sink and clothesline, which is really handy for drying beach clothes. The staff were all kind and helpful, and the pool was always clean. There is indoor parking plus four spaces outside in front of the inn. Breakfast was good, with three kinds of fruit, bread, cakes, scrambled eggs, and sausage. They'll make you toast on the griddle if you ask. Breakfast is scheduled by time slot because the space can't handle high-season crowds otherwise. That can get in the way of planning outings. Don't forget to catch the sunset.
