Residencial Las Salinas

Apartment 2 looked promising at first, with spacious bathrooms, and the condominium is new. The outdoor space and pool are lovely, and the location worked well for us, four blocks from the beach and near restaurants and supermarkets. You can manage without a car if you're not planning to visit other towns. But the apartment had a string of problems: the roof over the comfortable back patio and grill leaked badly in the rain, leaving the grill dirty and damp. The kitchen oven didn't work, moisture built up on a kitchen wall after rainy days, and water stayed on the shower floor instead of draining. The living room air conditioner was so loud it got in the way of conversation. We told the manager, but no fixes were provided. We spent seven days there, and construction in one part of the building made the stay worse. Workers began at 9 AM, shouting across the building and disregarding guests trying to rest. They also brought in water tanks and furniture during our week, making noise in the mornings and continuing to shout. We would not have booked if management had told us repairs were underway. The owner has photos of these issues. With the dampness, leaking roof, construction noise, and appliance and air conditioner maintenance addressed, the building could be highly recommended.

The condominium's outdoor area is very well cared for, but inside the house there were several problems. The bathroom doors were warped, so using the bathroom at night would wake anyone in the bedroom. Neither shower had enough water pressure, and only one gave warm water. The toilet seats were cracked and coming loose, lights in the living room and on the balcony were burned out, and sea air had corroded the bedroom drawers so they couldn't be used. When we asked the condominium for a garbage bag, they refused because it wasn't included in the rental rules. These are frustrating issues, especially for a family with a child planning a longer stay.

Everything was close by, from the supermarket, pharmacy, and bakery to the beautiful beach at Maresias. The whole team was polite, attentive, and helpful, and the house was very clean and just as described on AirBnB. Having bed linen and towels provided made traveling much easier. They even supplied good-quality personal care items in the bathrooms. Simply excellent, and we'll stay here again on our next trip to the north coast of SP.

It felt safe and welcoming, almost like being at home. The place was clean, with easy access to shops and the beach, and the pool was wonderful. I'd definitely return and recommend it to friends and family.
