Apartamento Na Ilha Porchat

We had a room overlooking the pool, which was the highlight for me. It's an incredible pool with a great view. I’ve stayed in Santos before, but I prefer the island here. There may not be much on the island, but it makes for a great getaway and you don't feel packed into the city. I paid about $60 US, and for that price, this is probably one of the best hotel deals I've had in Brazil. It's heading into autumn, so that may affect the rates. Sure, someone could nitpick because it isn't perfect, but I'll definitely come back many times.

The hotel is pretty average and not especially high-standard, but the service, view, and parking were good. Our room was average too, though the balcony looked out over the bay and pool. We picked this place for the view and pool, and the price included a simple, satisfying breakfast.

A great spot right by the ocean.

There’s a lovely outdoor pool overlooking São Vicente Bay and the strait that leads out to the Atlantic. My spacious suite also had a comfortable bed, a small dining space with a refrigerator, and a large Jacuzzi with strong jets. After my long trip from the U.S., that hydromassage was really relaxing. This seems to be a popular hotel along the São Vicente coast. My Uber driver said his parents celebrated their anniversary here. The rooms and hotel are functional, but they look like they’ve seen better days and could use a more contemporary renovation. My one complaint: nobody came to service my room on Saturday, my second day. The maid who brought my laundry had said someone would be by soon to tidy it up.
