Chateaux Hotel (adult only)

Horrible.

The location was the only good thing about this awful place. I booked one night for four family members, but we left before the stay was over. The air conditioner was extremely old, and the sheets were dirty. The shower in my room didn’t work, so I had to use the bathroom in another room, and nobody explained what was going on. I don’t recommend it. The price may make it seem like a good deal, but it isn’t.

Breakfast was simple but tasty and well prepared. The hotel itself is modest, though clean and tidy, and it felt comfortable and pleasant. Staff were attentive and gave good service. For the price, I thought it was very good value. It’s right across from the beach, with markets, pharmacies, and bakeries nearby. There are also leisure options just ahead, including stand-up paddleboards, pedal boats, and kayaks. I recommend it.

The room wasn’t comfortable for us, and that’s our right to say. There was an unpleasant smell, possibly from the shower or toilet, and some structural damage. The breakfast was disappointing too, with stale bread. The rate was R$ 200,00, and we didn’t use the parking since we weren’t traveling by car. The service was very friendly. The hotel is in a good spot, facing the sea and close to several conveniences, but the issues above let it down. I’m writing this out after the place gave a misleading response to my review. Maybe they mixed me up with another guest, who knows.
