Fernando was really kind, attentive, and helpful. This family run hostel is right in the commercial center of São Vicente, and I thought it offered great value for the price. There's a roomy bathroom where you can take a proper shower, plus a kitchen, a lounge, and another bathroom downstairs. The room has air conditioning and a steel locker for keeping personal belongings secure. It's a safe, affordable, comfortable place to get a good night's sleep after traveling. Just remember that, as a hostel, the room may be shared with other guests. I liked it and it delivers what it promises.

We liked the place. The bathroom and common area are both spacious. It's downtown, with affordable prices, and a good option for tourists looking for somewhere to sleep, though the beach is a walk away.
