Pousada Igrejinha dos Carneiros

The sea is right in front, and the little church is only a three-minute walk away. We had day use only, so I can't comment on the rooms. The grounds are lovely, with lots of grass, plenty of space, and everything well kept. It was low season, and the restaurant was run by a third party, apparently from the neighboring property. I highly recommend it. Day use was quite cheap, R$ 30 per person, and there are bathrooms, a shower, and that beautiful sea just ahead.

The spot has a great view and is a pleasant place to spend time. Day use cost 30 reais per person, including parking, tables, chairs, an umbrella, and a shower. They offered us tours there, and it was worth it. It's close to the little church, and day use costs more at some of the other nearby places. The food and snacks didn't really appeal to us, though. You can find better places to have lunch around there. Go before Neymar ruins the place by building a luxury hotel.

We used day use at Pousada da Igrejinha and ordered sliced fish. It arrived raw, and the rice was cold. The price they charge just isn't worth it.

The garden is gorgeous, with palm trees, hammocks, and chairs. The inside is well cared for, with classic furniture, and our room was comfortable too. It had a minibar and balcony, a decent bathroom, and a comfortable bed. I have no complaints about the room. Breakfast was good. You can ask for tapioca and scrambled eggs, and the pastéis de Belém were delicious. They also serve afternoon coffee. We didn't try any other meals there. I booked before the latest reviews came out, and they had made me nervous about going. Our experience turned out very different from what those reviews described. They don't respond much on WhatsApp, but everyone working there treated us wonderfully and helped with everything we asked for. The price was the lowest in that area, and I had no problems at all. My only suggestion is to put a few trash bins in the garden. I really enjoyed my stay and felt so welcome. Thank you!
