The price makes all the difference here. It’s a very simple house with two rooms close together, so sharing it with another guest could be pretty inconvenient. Towels cost extra, there’s no breakfast, and the bathroom has no shower enclosure. Check-in only starts at 4 pm, which is awful. If the price is close to that of a proper hotel or inn, I’d go there instead.

I never even got inside, so I can’t really say how the inn is. I’d booked one night, paid in advance, and let them know I was on my way. I got lost in an unfamiliar city because my phone’s GPS signal was bad, then reached the door a little late. I messaged, called, honked, and rang the bell, but nobody answered, and I was blocked on WhatsApp. I was on a motorcycle with my wife and all our bags, and ended up sleeping at a motel far away. The owner showed no consideration, didn’t even send a message despite knowing we were coming, and I lost my money. Be careful.

My wife and I loved the family feel of the place. Everything was as expected, and the owner was very attentive.

I arrived today and Srta. Kátia gave me a really friendly welcome. The rooms and common areas are simple, clean, and tidy, with no luxury. So far, it looks like it should be a good stay.
