The rooms are tiny, uncomfortable, and don’t have a minibar. Getting to them means taking narrow stairs with uneven steps, which I didn’t like. I decided not to stay, but the owner kept the full 50% of my five-night reservation, which was R$1,000. I don’t recommend it.

A really cozy place, with warm and attentive service from the owners. The cleanliness gets a 10, and breakfast was excellent. The location is great for heading out on trips too. I highly recommend it!

We had a very bad experience, with three major problems during just one night. First, while my wife was asleep, the owner came into the room to deliver a towel we hadn’t even asked for. She woke with a fright. I’d gone out with my daughter, and he could have handed it to me when I got back. It was extremely uncomfortable to have a stranger enter while my wife was alone. I was upset and told his wife not to come into the room at all, and that we’d ask if we needed anything. It felt very strange, as if the owners thought the place was their own home. Second, I’d agreed with the owner that we could check out at 3:00, but at 1:00 she called to ask when we were leaving. When I reminded her of our agreement, she said the room had been booked and asked us to leave by 2:30. On top of what had already happened, that was another unwelcome surprise. The owners seem to live at the inn, there’s no minibar, and I didn’t feel we had much privacy. There are many better options. Finally, after we’d agreed to leave at 2:30, the housekeeper came into the room at 2:00 without knocking, while my wife was getting dressed. Completely disorganized. If you want a comfortable, pleasant stay, I can’t recommend this inn. I’m glad we only spent one night there. I won’t return, and I’d think ten times before booking. There are better options in Teresópolis.

A 10 out of 10. The food is simple, inexpensive, generous, and delicious. I’d suggest ordering the galeto for two with a little salad. The whole team and the restaurant owner gave us excellent service. It’s very well located in central Teresópolis, right beside the famous little fair. Congratulations to them, and I recommend checking it out.
