It’s peaceful, just behind the Golfe Club, and good value for a pousada. It works especially well if you’re going to an event there. The place is well cared for, and while the rooms aren’t large, they’re clean. There’s also a great common room with a big TV, fireplace, and game tables, so it’s nice for groups.

I booked Friday night for Friday to Saturday, but meant to book Saturday to Sunday. It was an obvious mistake, and I contacted the pousada and Booking by WhatsApp right away. They still charged me for the night I’d booked by accident. That was really disappointing.

The hostess was warm, kind, and welcoming, and the place is lovely for families. It’s peaceful, surrounded by greenery, and has a nostalgic feel that takes you back to the 20th century. We’ll be back again.
