Pousada Videira de Teresópolis

It’s a simple pousada, but it does the job really well. The location is good, the atmosphere is nice, and the service is great. Breakfast is simple, and Thalita really makes it special. She’s so kind, polite, and helpful, always doing her best to please guests. Please appreciate her! The host also goes out of her way to help, including letting us check in early. We weren’t shown the great entertainment area and only found it ourselves, so that’s something they could improve in the welcome. I’d definitely come back and recommend it.

It was a quiet, modest place where we could rest. Most things went smoothly, but the mattress wasn’t comfortable, and the woman who helped us, I think she was the owner, reminded us about checkout more than four times, including in front of my young daughter. The rest of the stay was fine.

It’s a welcoming, simple pousada, close to shops and about a 15-minute drive from the feirinha do Alto. The sheets and towels were clean, the blankets smelled fresh, and breakfast was excellent and plentiful. They’ll make scrambled eggs to order. The TV worked great, with a good internet connection, so we could watch the Flamengo game and whatever else we wanted. We missed having more outlets and lights in the room, and an afternoon coffee would’ve been nice. We loved the stay and recommend it.

Everything was great and well organized. The owner was polite and helpful, and I recommend the pousada. A special mention for how warmly they welcome pets. Well done!
