The first two nights were lovely, but on the third day, while we were getting ready to leave, my wife opened the wardrobe as usual and its door came off the runners. We both tried to catch it and strained ourselves in the process. I reported what happened to the front desk in English and Portuguese, speaking separately with clerks who spoke each language. No one apologized. I could barely lift my right arm, and we had a 90-minute drive coming up within half an hour, so I asked for five minutes of first aid for my strained forearm. The English-speaking desk clerk, Caio, sent me to the massage spa, but they wouldn’t help. They didn’t even offer a bag of ice. Before this, I could lift my phone and heavier things with either arm. After the wardrobe door incident, I couldn’t even lift my phone with my right arm. When a guest says a faulty wardrobe door injured them, I’d expect some help.

Don’t stay here. A group of young kids made noise all night, so sleeping was impossible. I called reception, but they didn’t say anything or fix the problem.

Terrible hotel. Young adults were yelling and screaming and playing loud music through the night. There was no way to sleep.

The pool was incredible, and the staff were outstanding. The whole hotel feels new and is clean throughout. It’s a great place to experience.
