Pousada Flor da Pipa

Fantastic.

I booked six nights for my mother, and the owner quoted me one price. When she arrived alone at the inn, they charged her an extra R$120 because she was elderly. I asked several times for the money to be returned, but we couldn’t reach an agreement. The owner even blocked me on WhatsApp, and the manager also refused to refund it. They kept telling me my mother was being treated well, even though she had already paid for all six nights, on top of this extra fee. I don’t recommend this inn. The owner was terrible to deal with on the phone and didn’t know how to have a conversation.

The breakfast was very limited, with hardly anything to choose from. For what I paid, I expected more. The rooms were basic, just a bed, small table, and air conditioning, with simple bathrooms, no TV, plastic shower curtains instead of a shower enclosure, and no wall tiles. If you can, check it out before booking. You can surely find a much better place for the same price. I don’t recommend it.

The location is handy, with Pipa’s center within walking distance, but the accommodations could be better. Dark paint makes the rooms feel gloomy even during the day. The bathroom was awful, with nowhere to put your things and a sink too tiny to fit even a bar of soap. Breakfast was poor and repetitive. The facilities could be laid out and used in a way that’s more pleasant for guests.
